Mike Preston is a Professional Journalist by trade and became a Semi Professional Photographer out of necessity!
He often found himself in exotic locations and without a Professional Photographer to supply pictures for the
stories he was writing, so he went and bought a digital camera and started shooting, now he really is an
enthusiast and enjoys his Photography, a "Brummy" from Birmingham, England he now lives in Boston, USA.
I think you will agree by the pictures below, that perhaps I am not doing him justice by calling him a Semi Pro!

The Great Wall of China : I patiently took several shots from
this one spot as the clouds moved to create a natural haze.
The Forbidden City : I remembered Wayne's advice from
his DVD "Get the Picture ...Travel, that a head on shot is
not always as effective as one taken from an angle, so
wandered off to the side for a minute to get this shot!

Junior Flag Tournament in China
I aimed my trusty Canon Digital Rebel camera towards where
I thought the ball would be thrown, rather than follow its flight,
and came up with this timely picture of an interception.
The Miami Herald used this photo!
In the roll over picture - I was standing close to the action on the
sidelines, and able to follow a runner being pursued by opponents.
