If you haven't recognised this wonder yet! It is the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, I had crossed this wonderment to get a high view point, unfortunately the view was into the sun, and the bridge in shadow!

So I whipped out my set of trusty Cokin filters, and tried a few options, this was my favourite though it took three filters to get this effect, tobac on the top, blue along the bottom and movement blur from the left corner, one of the filters was held by hand over the other two!

Which brings me nicely into the fact, you can use filters on the new little digital cameras, you will have to hand hold them and experiment a little more, switch it to manual and play, try under exposure or over.

Play around and have fun :-) You can check the results straight away, create your own masterpiece!
